Public Notice of Meeting for the Odessa Elderly Housing Corporation - Board of Directors

Notice is hereby given that on April 14, 2026, the board of directors of the Odessa Elderly Housing Corporation will hold a Special Meeting at 1:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center located at 124 E. 2nd St, Odessa, Texas 79761.

The subjects to be discussed are listed on the agenda, which is attached hereto and made a part of this notice. If, during the course of the meeting covered by this notice, the Board should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session is required, then such closed or executive meeting or session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, will be held by the board at the date, hour, and place given in this notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting as the Board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted by the act, including, but not limited to, Section 551.071 (Private Consultation with the Board's Attorney) and Section 551.074 (Personnel Matters).

  2. Roll Call.
  3. Public Comments (3-minute limit).
  4. Executive/Closed Session under Texas Government Code § 551.074 (Personnel Matters): Deliberation regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee (Executive Director/Secretary of the Odessa Elderly Housing Corporation).
  5. Executive/Closed Session under Texas Government Code § 551.071 (Private Consultation with the Board's Attorney): legal advice regarding the personnel matter and associated obligations.
  6. Reconvene in Open Session.
  7. Consider and/or take action regarding the officer status of the Executive Director/Secretary (possible action including continuation of status or termination).
  8. Adjourn.
